Sonallah Ibrahim

A feature illustration for the newspaper NRC Handelsblad. The portrayed writer is the Egyptian novelist Sonallah Ibrahim, one of the writers mentioned in the bookreview article on Egyptian dissident literature for which this illustration was made. Ibrahim is the writer of the phenomenal novel The Committee.

SIMONCELLI DEAD IN SEPANG

Simoncelli lost control of his Honda at turn 11 four minutes into the race, but his bike regained partial grip and swerved across the track and into the path of American Colin Edwards and Italian Valentino Rossi.
Simoncelli's helmet was ripped off in the collision and he lay motionless on the track. He had been fourth at the end of the first lap. The other two riders were unhurt.
The organisers halted the race immediately after the incident, and then cancelled it.

Girls' Generation is a girl group from South Korea formed by SM Entertainment. The group has 9 members. They are Taeyeon as Leader, Jessica, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona and the youngest member is Seohyun. Girls' Generation actually their group name if translated into English. Their korean group's name is So Nyuh Si Dae or fans called them by the intial of So Nyuh Si Dae which is SNSD. This girl group debuted officially on 5 August 2007 but they have already perform their song in a show before in July 2007.
