The 24-year-old Russian tennis champ finished off her look with Cole Haan accessories and earrings and bracelets from Tiffany & Co. “Enjoying my time in Tokyo, just a great city. Several blocks from my hotel is the most amazing little waffle shop, I am trying so hard to avoid it, but I think I will breakdown soon!!” Maria wrote on her Facebook page. Posted: 26 Sep 2011 07:20 PM PDT  Andy Roddick and his wife Brooklyn Decker sandwich in Elton John at the 6th annual Andy Roddick Foundation Charity Gala on Wednesday (September 21) at the ALC Live Moody Theater in Austin, Texas. The event, which featured a cocktail reception, dinner, live auction, and a performance by Elton (who sang at Andy and Brooklyn’s wedding), helped raise more than $1 million for children’s organizations! Elton hit the stage to belt out some of his classics before closing the set with a tribute to The Lion King. He also praised Andy for his philanthropic efforts, even calling him a “mench” in between songs. | Jessica Chastain Signs on for Sci-Fi Flick With Tom Cruise Posted: 26 Sep 2011 06:50 PM PDT  Jessica Chastain just keeps getting busier! The 30-year-old actress, who most recently appeared in The Help, Coriolanus, The Debt, and Take Shelter, has been cast as one of two female leads in Universal’s untitled sci-fi film starring Tom Cruise. “Previously titled Oblivion and/or Horizons, pic revolves around a soldier stationed on a future Earth, the surface of which was destroyed by aliens. When he discovers a mysterious woman in a crash-landed pod, it sets off a chain of events that cause him to question everything he knows,” Variety reports. The film is expected to start production this winter with a July 19, 2013 release date. |
